iRiS Updates
A clearer project timeline
You’ll now see a project timeline at the top of your assessment, giving you a clear view of where your project currently sits. From scoping and prerequisites through to testing, reporting and QA, you can see the progress of your assessment at a glance.
Clearer scope & engagement details
We’ve introduced dedicated sections for Scoping and Engagement Overview. These capture important information such as IP addresses, domains and URLs in scope, Microsoft tenancy details, out-of-scope assets or exclusions, assessment objectives, rules of engagement and testing limitations and exclusions. This means the key details of your assessment are clearly documented and accessible throughout the project.
Easier prerequisite management
Need to provide credentials, additional scope information or other details before testing can begin? The new Prerequisites section gives you a clear list of anything we need from you. Once you’ve provided the requested information, it can be marked as complete, giving both you and our team a clear view of what is still outstanding.
Improved testing updates
We’ve also made it easier for you to stay informed while testing is taking place. You’ll now receive automated updates when testing starts, testing has finished for the day with a high-level overview of findings identified so far, and any additional messages as required. This means you’ll have a clearer picture of what’s happening throughout your assessment, without needing to chase for updates.
Reporting & QA
Once testing and reporting are complete, the project moves into Quality Assurance (QA). This provides another clear milestone in the project timeline and allows our team to track reports through the final stages of our internal review process before they are issued to you.
