Apprenticeship - Business Development Executive

Salary £14,000 per annum – Commission including fully sponsored apprenticeship

With continued rapid growth and the success of our apprenticeship scheme, we are looking to recruit further Business Development Executive Apprentices. This role is heavily focused on sourcing new business along with account management of existing clients.  The scheme will provide cyber security and data protection training in addition to the sales-based learning from the apprenticeship.

What you’ll be focused on

  • Researching potential clients
  • Making introductory calls and setting up meetings where appropriate
  • Following up on inbound leads
  • Creating quotations and proposals
  • Managing enquiries from prospects and clients
  • General business development including attending conferences, networking events and face to face sales meetings
  • Recording activity in the CRM system

Following your end-point assessment and work-based project, you will achieve a Level 4 Sales Executive qualification. Once achieved a full-time sales role awaits with unlimited earning potential.

CRT Level Penetration Tester

Location – Home based / hybrid

Full-time, permanent

Salary £40,000 per annum

What you’ll be focused on

  • Delivering web application, network infrastructure testing and cloud reviews
  • Understand threat activity and help implement improved security controls to better the organisation’s defensive security provision
  • Arrange and attend scoping calls/meetings with clients
  • Report writing
  • Ensuring that SLA’s and KPI’s are consistently met
  • Delivering exceptional customer experience

 

To be successful in the role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • CRT qualified or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience of delivering penetration testing
  • Demonstrate strong core IT skills with knowledge of networking and infrastructure, web applications and APIs
  • Knowledge of tools such as Nessus and Burp Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to testing
  • Forward thinking and not afraid to challenge the norm

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and will enjoy delivering a world-class experience to our customers.  You will be adaptable and flexible in your work and have a positive attitude, constantly striving to do the best for our customers.

In addition:

  • Location for the role is flexible, consideration for office based, remote or hybrid
  • Majority of the testing will be delivered remotely but with some onsite testing at UK client sites
  • Our testers are never utilised 100%! We understand research and self-development is important
