All organisations that are successfully certified to the Cyber Essentials scheme are included in the NCSC online Directory, which makes it easier for potential customers to find you when they are a looking for a supplier they can trust.

Certification options
There are two options for certification under the Cyber Essentials scheme:
Cyber Essentials
The self-assessment option gives you protection against a wide variety of the most common cyber attacks. The certification process has been designed to be light-weight and easy to follow.
Cyber Essentials Plus
The Cyber Essentials Plus Certification still has the trademark simplicity of approach. The protections you need to have in place are the same, but this time the verification of your cyber security is carried out independently by a Certification Body like iSTORM.

Cyber Essentials Update
In January there will be an updated set of requirements for the Cyber Essentials Scheme. This will be the biggest update of the schemes technical controls since its launch in 2014. The updates account for the changes in the way to we have been working over the past year and has prompted for a more regular review of the controls.
